Peter is a 72-year-old grandfather and great grandfather from south Sweden who underwent a total laryngectomy in 2014. His favorite pastime is riding motorcycles.

In many ways I live the same life as before the surgery which is now 7 years ago. I am 72 years old, have three adult daughters and both grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I have been retired for 13 years now. The pandemic affected us a lot but finally we can go out, be active and travel again.

My favorite thing to do is riding a motorcycle. We go for a ride and meet friends who also ride motorcycles, we have coffee and go to exhibitions.
