Provox Vega Puncture Set

1. Protect – The transparent pharynx protector (intended for primary puncture only) protects the pharyngeal walls. For secondary puncture, rigid esophagoscope is used for protection.

2. Puncture – The puncture needle creates the puncture and is used to introduce the GuideWire through the puncture site.

3. Place – The puncture dilator with preloaded voice prosthesis is attached to the guidewire and the puncture is gradually dilated as the dilator is pulled through. Provox Vega is gently placed in the correct position.

In a multicenter clinical study 100% of the voice prostheses could be placed using the Provox Vega Puncture Set; 89% of the procedures required no additional instruments .*
